Everything but the Kitchen Sink or Create a Cake

1 yellow cake mix
Large box Instant Vanilla Pudding
1 tub of Cool Whip
2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
2 cups sliced bananas

You can use any type of cake, filling or pudding.  Example:  chocolate cake, chocolate pudding and crushed Heath bar.
   

1.    Bake cake according to directions on package in 9 x 13 pan.  Cool cake.
2.    Mix pudding according to directions on package.
3.    Cut cake into 2 halves.  Crumble ½ cake into large bowl.  Layer with ½ of pudding and a layer of cool whip.  Top with strawberries and bananas.  Crumble rest of cake and make another layer as before.  Leave just enough cake to crumble for topping.

Beef Stew

1 pound of stew meat, browned
1/3 cup diced onion
2 cups sliced carrots
2 cups cubed potatoes
1 envelope Schilling stew seasoning

Cook in crock pot 6 – 8 hours on low

15 – 20 minutes prior to dinner, add:
1 cup frozen peas
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet


Thicken to taste with Pillsbury Gravy Maker

Chicken and Potatoes

4-6 Chicken breasts in crock pot. 
Salt and pepper to taste 
Add 1 can chicken broth
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup 
1 envelope of Lipton Mushroom/onion soup

Cook on low for 6 – 8 hours

Easy Clam Chowder

1 package Bear Creek Cream of Potato Soup

1 6 ounce can minced clams

Prepare soup according to package directions.  Add can of clams.

Candied Chicken

4-6 Chicken breasts placed in crock pot. 
Salt and pepper to taste.

Make sauce:
 
¾ cup ketchup
¾ cup brown sugar
1 Tablespoon prepared mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce 
¼ cup diced onions

Pour over chicken

Cook in crockpot on low for 6 – 8 hours

Serve over rice

Chicken with Stuffing

4-6 Chicken breasts placed in crock pot. 
Salt and pepper to taste.
1 can of Cream of Chicken soup and 1/3 cup of milk poured over chicken


Make 1 box of Stovetop Stuffing and spoon over chicken.

Cook on low for 6 – 8 hours

Serve over rice or noodles

Orange Chicken with Marinated Artichokes

4-6 Chicken breasts placed in crock pot. 
Salt and pepper to taste
6 – 12 oz. of frozen concentrated orange juice
1-2 jars of marinated artichokes



Stir together and pour over chicken.  Cook on low for 6 – 8 hours.

Serve over rice or noodles
